KIK Greek Yoghurt Tiramisu Breakfast Pancakes

 

 

KIK Greek yoghurt tiramisu pancakes are the perfect breakfast. With the combination of oats, coffee, and Greek yoghurt, this breakfast is balanced without sacrificing any flavour. This recipe tastes like a dessert without the heavy calories, simply because our Greek yoghurt is sweetened with stevia, making it lower in calories than anything else on the market. Ingredients:

Pancakes:
60g oats
2 tbsp KIK Greek yoghurt (coffee)
1 tsp espresso
1.5 tbsp honey
1 tsp baking soda 
100ml milk

Greek yoghurt frosting:
4 tbsp KIK Greek yoghurt (vanilla)
1 tsp cocoa powder

Instructions:

1- Blend all pancakes ingredients until batter is smooth.

2- Turn heat to medium/high, and make 4 pancakes with batter.

3- Place first pancake in a plate, and spread 1 tbsp of vanilla Greek yoghurt on top of it.

4- Stack a second pancake on top the first, and spread another 1 tbsp go Greek yoghurt on top.

5- Repeat with third and forth pancakes.

6- Sprinkle 1 tsp of cocoa powder on top of the forth and final layer of pancakes (should be frosted with Greek yoghurt).

Notes:

- To guaranty a creamier batter, blend oats into oat flour before hand.

- If you don't have espresso, you can replace instant coffee.

- You can substitute honey with maple syrup.

- You can use any milk substitute you desire, however it may alter the final texture slightly.
